Consolation Pool:

Consolation Pool Schedule Court 3

• 8 a.m. 1 v. 3, 2 refs

• 9 a.m. 2 v. 4, 1 refs

• 10 a.m. 1 v. 4, 3 refs

• 11 a.m. 2 v. 3, 1 refs

• 12 p.m. 3 v. 4, 2 refs

16s (at Irvine Valley College)

Competition begins at 8 a.m. with the Championship concluding by 4:30 p.m.

Teams will be projected into a Consolation Pool and a Gold Bracket and then reseeded based on Day 1 pool play only. The Consolation Pool will be made up of the last ranked 3rd place team and all 4th place pool finishers (4 teams). The eight team Gold Bracket will consist of all 1st and 2nd place pool finishers plus the top two 3rd place teams. Play off projections and reseeding will be determined in the following order: match record, pool finish, game record, and then point percentage.

The Consolation Pool will be a 4 team pool play on court 3 with no play offs (concluding around 2:30 p.m.)

 

Gold Bracket

The top 8 teams go into a double elimination bracket played on courts 1 and 2. Note the modified schedule: all Winner's Bracket matches will be played best 2 out of 3 games. Once the Loser's Bracket gets to the 3rd round all matches will be play 1 game to 25 points. The Championships will be a 1 game final with no double final. We expect the 16s Championships to begin around 3:30 p.m. All teams losing in the Gold Bracket will ref the following match on their court.

A Gold Bracket with times will be posted online Saturday night and at the Irvine Valley College facility on Sunday.
