THE COMPETITION

Day 2

17s (at Saddleback Volleyball Club)

GOLD Pools - 3pm Start time

Consolation Pool  - 3pm Start time

Competition begins at 3 p.m. and concludes by 9:30 p.m.

Round 3

Teams will be projected into two Consolation Pools and four Gold Pools then reseeded based on Day 1 pool play only. The two Consolation Pools will consist of the 3rd place teams (6 teams total). The four Gold Pools will consist of all 1st and 2nd place pool finishers (12 teams). Play off projections and reseeding will be determined in the following order: match record, pool finish, game record, and then point percentage.

Consolation Pools:
The bottom 6 teams project into 2 pools of 3 to be played on cts. 5 & 6.

Consolation 3 Team Pool Play Schedule:

• 1st match 1 v. 3, 2 refs 3 p.m.

• 2nd match 2 v. 3, 1 refs 4 p.m.

• 3rd match 1 v. 2, 3 refs 5 p.m.

Round 4

Consolation Crossovers begin at 6 p.m.

• Ct. 5 1st place teams cross, winner takes 13th

• Ct. 6 2nd place teams cross, winner takes 15th, losing team refs 7 p.m. match on ct. 6

• 3rd place team ref ct. 5 and 6 at 6 p.m.
   

7 p.m.

• Ct. 6 3rd place team cross, winner takes 17th

All crossovers matches will be played as a best two out of three game match.

Round 3 Gold Pool Play

Top 12 Teams go into 4 pools of 3 played on cts. 1, 2, 3, 4 beginning at 3 p.m. Then all teams in the Gold will go into bracket beginning around 6 p.m.

3 Team Pool Play Schedule:

• 1 match 1 v. 3, 2 refs 3p.m.

• 2 match 2 v. 3, 1 refs 4p.m.

• 3rd match 1 v. 2, 3 refs 5p.m.

Round 4

Begin Bracket Play 6 p.m.
All teams losing in bracket play will ref the following match on their court.

• 1sts go into the Gold semis Cts. 1, 2.

• 2nds go into the Silver semis Cts. 3, 4.

• 3rd place teams ref at 6 p.m.

7 p.m.

• 3rds go into the Bronze semis on courts 3 and 4.

8:00 p.m.

• Ct. 1 Gold Finals Winners are MLK 17s Champions

• Ct. 2 Silver Championships, bracket winner takes 5th, losing team refs Bronze Final on ct. 2

9:00 p.m.

• ct. 2 Bronze Finals, bracket winner takes 9th
